Is there garage parking?
Yes! Each unit is assigned one parking space in the heated garage.
Is there a community room?
Yes! Each building features a community room available for residents to relax, socialize, and spend time with neighbors. Each room is equipped with a television, couches, tables, and chairs.
Is there controlled access?
Yes. Each building has controlled access entry to help provide and added level of security and privacy to residents.
Is there an elevator?
Yes! There is an elevator providing convenient access to all floors including the underground parking garage.
Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not allowed at the Residences at Northwood.
Are online payments available?
Yes! We ask that residents make payments online.
Where can my guests park?
There is ample outside lot parking for guests.
Are storage units available?
No. The Residences at Northwood doesn't have storage units. However, each apartment has a walk-in closet.
Is the building smoke-free?
Yes. The building is smoke-free. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building.
Does each unit have a washer and dryer?
Yes! There is a washer and dryer in each unit.
What appliances are included?
A refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, washer and dryer are included.
How high are the ceilings?
The ceilings are 9-feet high.
There are vaulted ceilings on the top floor.
Does the apartment have in-floor radiant heat?
Yes. Each unit is equipped with in-floor radiant heating, providing consistent and comfortable warmth throughout the living space.
What are the features of the kitchen?
Each kitchen has a walk-in pantry and kitchen island.
Are window coverings included?
Yes! The large windows in each unit have window coverings.
Are the units furnished?
No. The units are unfurnished.
What are the qualifications for residency?
Income = At least 3X the monthly rental rate
Credit History = Favorable credit
Clean Criminal History = Must pass background check
What is the application fee?
The application fee is $45 per person (non-refundable). Each adult intending to live in the apartment must pay the application fee.
What are the move-in charges?
Security Deposit = NO security deposit
Admin fee = $200

Are there monthly charges in addition to rent?
Yes, residents pay for parking, utilities and a community fee:
Parking
Parking is $100/month for a heated garage parking space.
Utilities
Residents pay their proportionate share of the following utilities:
Water/Sewer ~ $30 - $40/ month
Trash ~ $20 - $25/ month
Electric ~ $70 - $120/ month
Gas ~ $40 - $75/ month
Please note that the amounts above are averages. Actual cost per month varies with the season.
Community Fee
The $30/month community fee covers common area cleaning/maintenance, smart-home technology subscription and utility management.
How do I pay my rent?
Rent is paid through our online portal.
Is parking available?
Each unit has one reserved parking space in the heated garage which costs $100/ month. There is also plentiful outside lot parking.
How do I submit a maintenance request?
Routine maintenance requests are submitted through our online portal.
What should I do if I have a maintenance emergency?
We have 24/7 emergency maintenance response. Please call 907-615-4794.
Who is the Internet Service Provider?
Internet connectivity is through GCI. Please find internet rates at GCI.com.
Are there cleaning fees upon move out?
Yes. A $350 cleaning fee is charged upon move out.
